Become a Misfit Volunteer
Misfit volunteers are the lifeblood of the agency and perform essential functions on a day-to-day basis, contributing over 2,000 hours a month. They serve on the board of directors, host events and support groups, sort and stock donations, assist in programs, maintain donor records, organize fundraisers and community drives, provide grant writing and along with assisting in crafting and distributing the Community Care Packages, and providing advocacy and assistance for families, youth, and caregivers.

Throughout our state, individuals volunteer within their own communities, establishing the supportive environment we all yearn for. Whether an adult, in high school, middle school, college or retired, there is an opportunity for all who would like to participate.
"Volunteering is at the very core of being human. No one has made it through life without someone else's help."
- Heather French Henry
