The Misfit Motherhood Campout 2023

Join us for a weekend of sisterhood, bonding, and relaxation at the Sticks & Stones Farm in Newtown, CT. You will have the option of picking and choosing which community activities and peer-led workshops you want to participate in, or spend some time alone in nature at your campsite. 

We will have access to facilities across the farm. There are compost toilet huts and outdoor shower stalls that will be available with hot running water. We have an outdoor community kitchen hut, grills, and fire pits as well. Mamas-only guests have the choice of staying in a shared cabin or bringing a tent. There will be dedicated camping space for mamas who are attending with children.

IMPORTANT:

• You will be responsible for your own food, whether or not you plan to participate in community/potluck meals.
• If you choose to bring your child(ren), you are responsible for supervising them for the duration of the weekend.
• This is a substance-free property.

Tentative Itinerary

Friday:

• 3pm: Registration
• 5pm: Welcome ceremony & fire circle
• 6pm: Community potluck dinner
• 8pm: Fireside drum circle (please bring your own instruments)
• 11pm: Quiet hour

Saturday:

• 7am: Morning mindfulness
• 8am: Community breakfast
• 9am: Community breakfast
• 11am: Community Market- buy, sell, or trade your goods
• 12pm: Community potluck lunch
• 1pm:  Afternoon community-led workshops
• 6pm: Community potluck dinner
• 7pm: Goddess/Mothers ceremony
• 8pm: Fireside Drum Circle
• 10pm: Dancing under the stars
• 11pm: Quiet hour

Sunday:

• 7am: Restorative yoga/ meditation
• 8am: Community potluck breakfast/leftovers
• 10am: Sound bath & closing ceremony
• 11pm: Camp Breakdown-leave no trace behind
• 1pm: Gates close.

If you require a payment plan, please reach out to us directly through info@themisfitmamasinc.org for arrange for a 50% deposit and a final payment due 9/15/23. Tickets are non-refundable.
