1st Annual Misfit Mamas Clothing Swap

We chose this location so that those who may not be able to have childcare present can utilize the playground while we swap. My mom will be present to help keep an eye on kiddos, and if anyone has teens who need volunteer hours and would like to help her I’m happy to sign off for them!

We are requesting a $10 donation via cash or Venmo upon sign-in at the event. Donations go towards helping the non-profit grow- helping those in need etc.

How it works:

• Bring any unwanted clothing, toys, shoes, books and up to one tote of household items you no longer, want, need or use.

• We will sit in a circle and one by one go through and hold up each of the items we have for grabs saying details about them like size and such. Anyone who wants that item will raise their hand. If more then one person wants an item a tie breaker game will be played to select the winner.

• Any items not claimed you will have the option to take back home with you or toss in the center donation pile. At the end anyone who wants to go through the donation pile one last time can- and anything left will be donated to The Misfit Mamas Helping Hands Program!

• We will take breaks throughout for some fun clothing swap games! Winners will win extra raffle tickets for prizes!

• We’d like to ask that anyone who’s able to bring a potluck dish to share with the group. Those that bring a dish will receive 10 extra raffle tickets!

👉 If you arrive within the first 30 minutes you will receive 10 tickets!!!!!

Prizes up for grabs include various back to school backpacks filled with school supplies and some fun misfit mama self care baskets, and family game night baskets!
